This Craven A Cigarettes Box is the Cigarettes in the rations given to the WWII British Army. The Carreras Tobacco Company donated cigarettes to the British Army.

The Carreras Tobacco Company created the Craven A Brand, named after the Earl of Craven. Their slogan was “Will Not Affect Your Throat”.  Craven A Cigarettes were the first machine-made cork-tipped cigarette.
