All K-rations included a K-ration sized cigarette pack with four non-filtered cigarettes. Unfortunately for brand loyal GIs, K-rations came with the manufacturer’s choice of cigarettes. Although lesser cigarette brands often won government contracts, GIs were quick to trade for established brands such as Philip Morris, Camels, Chesterfields, or Lucky Strike.

We’ve stumbled upon a few K-ration cigarette master cartons. We believe these were shipped overseas for distribution to combat troops who didn’t need full rations.
