Also known as the Clejuso model, T-type come-along handcuffs were used by the various German police forces during WWII.
These surplus German handcuffs are undated and unmarked. We’re assuming these are post war because they were still used by the East and West German police until the 1980’s.
The simplistic style was popular in Europe and dates back to at least 1890. Similar designs were also used by French, Australian, and American police forces.
