This WWII Camp Hood Texas T shirt with Half-Track is a reproduction of an original WWII T-shirt taken from a photograph.
95,000 troops passed through Camp Hood during WWII. Camp Hood was home to the Tank Destroyer School, as well as the Tank Destroyer Tactical and Firing Center. It was opened in 1942 and named after Civil War General John Bell Hood.
By 1944, Tank Destroyer battalions decreased dramatically, and more of the base was used as an Infantry Replacement Training Center.
All of our WWII Tee-shirts are hand screen printed like they were during the war, so variations in colors naturally occur.
Our WWII PT shirts have the U.S Spec tag in the neck. The WWII Camp Hood T-shirt is made of 100% cotton and runs true to size. Women’s sizes are available upon request. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
